Katie Robinson

          As an 18 year old Senior at Upson-Lee High School, many people think it is very brave for me to begin taking college classes early. For me though, it was just the next step in the grand scheme of my ambitious life. When I go to Georgia Southern University in the fall I plan to double major in Public Relations and Journalism, so I can combine my two loves of writing and planning events.

     Outside of school and academic related activities, I am very passionate about volunteering. My little sister is 8 years old and the most important person in my life, so I volunteer with her Girl Scout Troop. I also volunteered at my local animal shelter for a while. I have a really tight-knit group of six friends. We are always together. My life is busy and amazing. I wouldn’t change anything and I have no regrets.
